Welcos (CEO Kim Young-don) announced on the 8^th that it was re-selected as the Korean national representative joint brand, ‘Brand K’.

‘Brand K’ is a business that supports the market through marketing and promotion by granting ‘Brand K’, a national representative joint trademark, to consumer goods of high quality manufactured by small and mid-sized businesses having difficulty entering overseas markets due to lack of awareness. 

Welcos’s ‘Medipam Green Plus Cream’ was re-selected as Brand K that represents the national brand in 2023, following 2021. In this re-selection review, the corporate value was evaluated based on product competitiveness as well as corporate capabilities and overseas marketability in priority. The global market growth rate and the current status of overseas market development seemed to have received a favorable evaluation.

Welcos will be granted the right to use Brand K trademark(logo) for another two years and receive promotional marketing supports, including domestic and foreign exhibition fairs and launching at Brand K flagship stores, due to the re-selection of ‘Brand K’ this year. Welcos plans to actively utilize the benefits of ‘Brand K’ certification for the marketing of various brands loved at home and abroad, including Gwailnara, Frudia, Around Me and Confume, besides ‘Medipam’ brand.

A source from Welcos conveyed that “We are happy to be recognized for our excellent technology and marketability once again thanks to the re-selection of Brand K”, and expressed the company’s vision that “We will grow into a global brand that promotes K-Beauty all around the world fueled by the government’s active support policy”.
